Tomball, TX Summer Camps & Classes 2024

May 23 was the last day of the Tomball ISD 2023-2024 school year. The first day of the 2024-2025 school year is August 13. What happens in-between can be educational and fun-filled for your family’s youngsters! Summer school classes and camps help beat boredom with individual and group activities that promote physical and educational development.

Summer school can help students bridge big transitions and develop learning skills. Kids can build confidence and discover new interests. And summer school camps can help your children develop greater emotional security as they learn and grow with others. 

Here are some of the summer activities available for Tomball-area youngsters. (Some Tomball ISD classes and camps are also available to non-TISD students.)

TISD classes & camps are held at:
Grand Lakes Junior High, 20247 Cypress Rosehill Rd., Tomball, TX 77377

Grand Oaks Elementary, 20241 Cypress Rosehill Rd., Tomball, TX 77377.

  • Credit Recovery 1 – June 3-20, 2024
    Grades 7-12 students can attend these classes at Grand Lakes Junior High in Tomball. Courses include math, science, English, Spanish, French, and social studies. For more information, email markvierkant@tomballisd.net

    Grades K-8 students explore fun & exciting advanced educational activities at Grand Lakes Junior High. Scholarships are available.
    Grades K-1 develop programming & teamwork skills while learning about push-and-pull forces and more.
    Grades 2-3 dive into smart technology with light, sound, and more.
    Grades 4-5 build, design, and use technological creativity to create unique art and more.
    Grades 6-8 explore coding through music, programming electrical waves, and more.
